At the start of the legal proceedings, Anderson Lee Aldrich faced a series of serious charges consisting of ten felony counts. These included five counts of murder and five counts of committing a bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury.
To protect the ongoing investigation, a judge authorized the sealing of Aldrich’s prior arrest records. During a hearing on November 23, Anderson Lee Aldrich made a remote appearance via video from the El Paso County jail.
During this, they were informed of the charges and bond conditions. Currently, Aldrich is being represented by a public defender and is held without bond.
On December 6, a comprehensive range of charges was presented against Aldrich, amounting to a total of 305 criminal counts.
